Volunteer Visits

Sometimes, a little company or a little help can make a big difference.

Our Volunteer Visits Program connects trusted volunteers with community members who could use a hand around the house—or just someone to check in. Volunteers can assist with light household tasks such as tidying up, organizing, taking out the trash, or simply sharing a conversation over a cup of tea. These visits are about more than chores—they’re about building connection and reducing isolation in our community.

To ensure the comfort and safety of everyone involved:

All volunteers are background-checked before being matched.

Each client receives an in-home assessment so we can better understand their needs and preferences.

Initial visits are coordinated and monitored by our team to ensure a positive experience for both the volunteer and the person receiving support.

If you or someone you know could benefit from a friendly visit, or if you're interested in volunteering, we'd love to hear from you!
