How We Help

At Tahoe Truckee Helping Hands, we believe that small acts of support can have a big impact. Whether it’s a friendly visit, a ride to the store, or help fixing something around the house, our goal is to make everyday life a little easier—and a lot more connected—for our neighbors.

All of our services are free of charge and provided by volunteers from right here in the community. We carefully match volunteers with those who could use a hand, and we take steps to ensure everyone feels safe, supported, and respected every step of the way.

Volunteer Visitors

Friendly check-ins and light help around the home. Whether it’s a little tidying or just some company, we’re here to brighten your day.

Transportation

We offer weekly group grocery trips and scheduled rides to appointments. Safe, supportive, and right on time.
